B3030 radio installation

| woody | Hi, I have recently purchased a B3030HSDC and would like to install a radio in the cab. Does anyone know of any documentation that would show the best way to do this? My dealer honestly advised me that buying this option from Kubota was not a wise expense, but before I cut into the cab line, I'd love to know the best approach. Thanks, |

| Hard core Ford | The installation process for the factory Kubota radio kit is a piece of cake. Nothing gets cut. The hardest part of the process is locating the speaker wiring located in the side trim. |

| DaKiqueeng | i have a L3540 and would like to know how to match up the colors that are on the harness on the cab to attach to the colors on a harness I got from the dealer, 9 pin connector 3 wires were not used on the harness, but on the cab harness 2 were not used, seems as though the 8th position (pink wire) was missing on the harness from the dealer. I think its either 12v Battery or switched acc 12v |
The performance of the antenna (and thus the radio) can be affected as much as 25% by the coaxial connection. When you consider how to hook up a CB radio, be sure to use thickly insulated coaxial cable coated to protect against the weather, such as the RG-38 or RG-58 cable, and stainless steel or metal connectors such as the Motorola type or PL-259 (which has a large connector).
